Day 4, On the way home...

On the day I had to go home, the weather really wasn't great! and time wasn't on our sides, we had to catch an early ferry back over to main land Britain. This meant I had just time to take a couple of shots to remember our time on the Isle of Arran...

The above shot is of a local bus stop, this are all over the Island.

The Hotel we stayed in, right on the beach front.

The above shot was taken  at a farm, near Blackwater foot, where we stayed. I really wanted to capture the atmosphere and I really could imagine the image fitting with the creative text I had chosen.

Nikon D700, 20mm Wide angle lens,
Camera settings: 1/50sec F/2.8 ISO 400.

We managed to make our way to Whiting Bay, on the way to the ferry port. Although extremely cold and windy on the sea front, I managed to take a couple of shots.
I new I also had to take back the Shift & Tilt lens, so I was lucky enough to use it one more time, before we had to head back home.

Nikon D700, 24mm Tilt & Shift lens, Tripod, ND Grad filter.
Camera settings: 1/160sec F/5.0 ISO 400.

On reflection, I feel this is the best shot I took using the Tilt & Shift lens. I made mistakes, but I am so glad I hired the lens and will definitely be hiring it out again!
