Blurb book

               
        I decided to create a book with Blurb, that way I could show more of my images and show how I made a connection with my chosen creative text. Below are screen grabs taken from the Blurb Website, each screen grab shows my pages inside the book. I wanted the book cover, to remain simple but to also reflect empty space, a void that might of been left by the loss of a loved one.

I wanted to use a paper that reflected the my chosen subject matter, by using Pro-line Matt paper, I felt it gave the book a softer feel and also helped to give the images a muted appearance. 

I decided to use a layout that was suggested by the Graphic Tutor, Mark. I wanted to link appropriate poems and lyrics with images, that I felt reflected what I wanted to say and ultimately helped the viewer come to a peaceful reflection on their own losses.

I added a dust cover to not only reflect the subject matter, but to also protect the book. However I did upgrade the outer cover, to add a more textured surface.
