Framing experts/ Focus

I was lucky enough to visit Focus in Photography at the Birmingham NEC this year, as I did last year. I found both years excellent and an amazing insight into the photography industry. This yea I really wanted to have a look at different printers, framers and Wedding/ Disc albums.
I came across The print Foundry, for me their frames were stunning! A little on the expensive side, but nether the less the quality was fantastic. The print Foundry http://www.theprintfoundry.co.uk/
,offer a variety of creative framing solutions including, Canvas prints, Framed Canvases, Pro Floating Prints, Box prints, Aluminescent prints, Aluminium Mounted Prints, Acrylic Prints, Acrylic Blocks, Aluminium Box Frames, Tray Frame Prints, Aluminescent Block Wraps, Floating framed prints and Framed Prints.

My friend Carren and I enquired about the prices of various frames, a friendly gentleman showed us around the stand and their products. The Aluminescent print really caught my eye, he effect looked stunning! I am not sure how my landscape photography would look like, produced this way, but for wedding and contemporary portraiture it would be a brilliant.

Below are some screen grabs from their website:

Canvas Prints:

The website, clearly explains the quality that goes into a Canvas print.

The frame above is excellent for quality and I feel has a modern feel.

The photo paper used in the Floating frames is Photo Lustre paper, I really would like a textured feel to my work.

The print foundry, have an option of just having your prints enlarged. This may come in handy for a future work and assignments.

The above option, I feel is the best for my work and I certainly may take up their photo process. The paper has a light texture and I feel this will really add to the texture in my work.

The print foundry also supplies Acrylic blocks, perfect for studio owners.
prices:
12x16 inchs           £34.99
16x24 inchs           £42.99
20x30 inchs           £44.99
30x40 inchs           £54.99

I really wood love some of my work printed on metal. I aim to print on metal for the exhibition in London. The print foundry, has this option.
Whilst researching further, I found the only way I could choose this option was if I applied for a trade account. At the moment I really don't think this will be an option I can choose.
This means I need to research more framers and printers, that allow me to purchase goods without having to sign up for a trade account.
